Assisting physically Disabled People

Life is difficult enough with the full use of arms & legs and the sensory input of eyes & ears.
While physically assisting those with disabilities, Assistance Dogs also help remove social barriers by empowering disabled people to go places and meet people which would be difficult or impossible without their specially trained canine partners.  It has also been proven that people are much more likely to approach and interact with a person who has a dog than with one who does not, thus providing additional social opportunities which are so important for physical and psychological well being
